Drive By Review: Superman Returns
Running late for work, but don't care... Here you go.
Didn't elicit the same sense of awe as Superman The Movie (except the nostalgia of John Williams original score - surprisingly heart tugging), but then again, I was 8 years old when the first Superman movie came out. Still, nice ride, and we got some Superman chest out of it!

I gotta say. . . all the Christ references made me squirm, but perhaps that was just from the smell of my neighbors nachos.
Upon further reflection, I have to change my review a bit. In retrospect the movie was a bit of a dissapointment.
Did you notice how Brandon Routh/Superman had, like, 8 lines in the whole movie? The things called Superman Returns, afterall! It should have been called Superman Returns Without Much To Say...
And, yes, the whole Jesus imagery got a bit tiresome...
I agree, the movie wasn't so much about Brandon/Superman as it was about "Superman" he hardly had any lines.
I always loved the John Williams Soundtrack and when the movie started with the original theme I was instantly taken back to days of my youth when I played that double album over and over and over and looked at the double album spread of Superman...ahhhhh
They digitally reduced the size of his package. What a crime.
