I changed the subtitle to this blog from "yet" to "don't backtrack" courtesy of bagofraisin.
When I read Bag of Raisin (via Mikey), I thought that little phrase was just what I needed to hear.
To me "don't backtrack" means try not to have regret, just move forward and do better.
What do you think it means?

from the words they sound, i think...er..
like what you've said. no remorse and dont get your arse back on the main path.
take the road not taken.
Ironically, a few days ago Salon had a column that describes pretty well what I think it means to "backtrack":
"...not moving forward toward novelty and challenge but moving backward toward repetition and safety..."
I liked "yet" because it gave the feeling that the panic is yet to come. And it will come, that's what keeps me coming back.
